The Horrors | Skying

If you need something like The Smiths or Morrissey, The Horrors is the new UK chart climbing pale-melody band to listen to. Dark wave, post punk or whatever you call it, Skying landed well into that 80’s heart of yours. Easiest to love is ‘Still Life’ and  ‘I Can See Through You’, with catchy repetitive pentatonic slow chants and vocals. These songs are an earful to listen to. Some say their previous album ‘Primary Colours’ was the start of their good music, but I think it’s possible to love The Horrors just by listening to this very album.
