Location

The whole compound is a gallery for classic Javanese and Balinese artistry. Atmosphere
Getting off the Canggu main road and down into the narrow residential road where Plataran is located, is like going into a time tunnel. The trip back in time is complete right around Plataran’s front court where a two-hundred year old traditional Javanese house (Joglo) stands to welcome guests. Further inside, individual layouts of the villas give out a sense of a royal Balinese village. Each of the different types of villas blends seamlessly with its lush green surroundings creating a palpable closeness to nature.
