Sentosa Private Villas and Spa in Petitenget encases you in a sense of luxury from the moment you enter the property. Luxe Lounge Spa carries through a sense of indulgence in its open reception room with deep armchairs for manicures and pedicures and a marble reception hall. Soaring celings give a sense of space and light, and even entitlement, as though you deserve all this and more. The staff are courteous and professional and the menu reads like an international best of spa experiences. The private rooms are lined in wood and also feature high ceilings and windows that overlook the gardens.
Feel
From the music right down to the kimonos, everything here feels like it’s been designed for maximum comfort. We chose to sample two treatments, the local favourite, a cream bath, that was anything but “biasa”. Luxurious treatments were applied to the hair, a massage extends beyond the head and neck right to the fingertips and the blow dry left a head of shining and healthy conditioned hair. Smelled fantastic too. The other treatment, the Natural Facial featured a Chinese massage and acupressure technique called Tui Na which is followed by a cooling and therapeutic rolling of the skin with jade. The products smell glorious, feel indulgent and this 75-minute treatment is one you could easily become addicted to.
Ingredients
From the all natural home-made therapies to some high end imported products, the menu here offers something for everyone, including a comprehensive men’s menu and some alternative therapies like detox and colonic hydrotherapy. The training experienced by the therapists is comprehensive which offers a sense that you are in good hands whether you opt for a quick beauty treatment or take the option of their comprehensive signature treatments.
Magic
The magic here is largely due to the Chinese holistic emphasis of the spa. Apart from the luxurious spaces in the spa and the wonderful products, there is a zen aspect to the therapies that sets this spa apart from the crowd. The addition of a menu specifically aimed at men is another wonderful addition.
