Game On! | Let’s Get Kinect-ed

The success of Nintendo’s WII has left rivals wanting a piece of the motion censored console pie, so Microsoft and Sony have released their own add-ons for the current gen consoles. The PS3 has been given it’s ‘Move’, while the Xbox 360 has its ‘Kinect’. Here are three of the best Kinect games out today. In the next edition we’ll see what PS3’s Move can offer.
1. Child Of Eden
This is by far the best non-controller based game out there to date. This fantastically artsy rail shooter is a full-on assault to the senses. Combining breathtaking graphics with amazing music, it feels as if you’re the conductor of an electronic orchestra by simply waving your hands around to control the game. In short: Child of Eden needs to be experienced because it’s hard to explain in words!
2. Kinect Sports
Play bowling, table tennis, volleyball and other strenuous physical sports, all in the comfort of your home. You will break a sweat after playing these games as you jump, duck, slide from side to side and swing your arms to play all the assorted games. Careful not to play in your undies as the Kinect’s camera takes snap shots of you in action when you least expect it.
3. Michael Jackson The Experience
Fulfill your dreams and become the next king of pop with this music videogame. Learn from Michael Jackson’s own choreographers and dancers as they teach the steps to move like the musical legend. The Kinect’s built-in camera puts the gamer directly into the game as you follow the moves on screen and see yourself depicted in glittering pixelated glory.
