Whose Canvas | Setyo Mulyo

Having left art school after only two semesters, a decision which he believes gave him a lot of real time experiences and firsthand knowledge, Setyo Mulyo who describes his idea of fantasy about the universe, his private life and addresses global issues through his 39 painting set is capitalizing on the moving powers of art yet again. In his solo exhibit in Adi’s gallery, Setyo uses the storyboard idea to capture his audience imagination and get his message across. Noticeable patterns in his paintings are the sharp edges and corners with a lot of triangular shapes, a shape that is symbolic for connecting human nature with the universe. Setyo Mulyo also does his take on modern and futuristic cities through the 39 storyboard concept. Yet another exciting art exhibition you do not want to miss at Adi’s Gallery, Jl.
