Maccarroni played host to an elegant fashion show by Uluwatu Lace last Friday 29 November. Models sashayed down the minimalist steps from the upper level, making their way amongst the tables to give clients a closer look at the hand loomed garments in classic Balinese lace. The show was followed by a performance by Soulflip with their combination of dance, traditional Indonesian music and modern electronica. If you’re down on gas maybe it’s time you stopped at Fuel. Over the last weekends the new bar and restaurant, across the road from the pumping Mbargo, has had special guest DJs, parties and dining events. We dropped down to have a look and came back with a full tank.
