The 69 dishes of Kamasutra.

Kamasutra, known so well as one the better live music and clubbing venues in Kuta, recently hired a new chef for their restaurant.

The restaurant’s been there the whole time, if you hadn’t noticed, and specializes in, not so surprisingly, Indian cuisine. According to Hans, the manager of Kamasutra, the kitchen was one of the biggest investments in Kamasutra and now they want to start concentrating on the Indian dining experience. New chef Kumar comes direct from India and he’s been tweaking the menu since arriving two months ago and is now ready to offer it to the Kuta dining world.

What we tried the other night was excellent. They have a free flow rice – choice of Indian and white rice – which is served on a banana leaf. You choose the main dishes to go with it and all the main dishes are reasonably priced and authentically Indian. If you like your Indian, give Kamasutra a chance - It’s come up a notch. SS.
